Electrophysiology Opening – Mason City, Iowa
Location: Mason City, IA
Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Specialty: Cardiac Electrophysiology
Mason City, Iowa has an excellent opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Electrophysiologist to join the Cardiology department within a well-established, physician-owned multi-specialty group.
Position Highlights:
Join a busy and collaborative cardiology team of:
- 10 physicians
- 10 fellows
- 7 nurse practitioners
Practice includes inpatient, outpatient, and diagnostic cardiology services
Perform full spectrum electrophysiology procedures including:
- ICD implantation
- Pacemakers
- Ablations (including pulse field technology)
- Loop recorders
Integrated cardiovascular program with non-invasive, invasive, interventional cardiology, cardiac surgery, and vascular surgery
Training opportunities with Cardiology fellowship program
Practice located at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center:
- 342-bed regional referral teaching hospital
- Level III Trauma Center
- 24/7 staffed ED and hospitalist services
- Helicopter transport access
- State-of-the-art cath labs
1:6 call rotation
Fellows take first call
Opportunity for additional call compensation (+$500 per diem)
Requirements:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiac Electrophysiology
Eligible for Iowa medical licensure
Compensation & Benefits:
Guaranteed base salary: $690,000 annually (2-year guarantee) plus production incentives
$200,000 recruitment bonus paid during first two years
