The facility features a 30-bed department and maintains Level 1 trauma designation, providing excellent opportunities for professional growth and diverse case exposure.
Opportunity:
Physician - Internal Medicine - Cardiology
Job Details:
• Provide inpatient cardiology services covering 15-20 patients per day shift with APP support
• Work 12-hour shifts (6a-6p) in-house or 24-hour shifts (12 hours in-house, 12 hours on call)
• Read inpatient echocardiograms and nuclear studies with interpretation responsibilities
• Perform inpatient transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs)
• Take consultative call 1-2 nights per week, primarily handling phone consultations
• Respond to calls from hospitalists and regional transferring facilities
• Manage ICU cardiology patients and STEMI cases
• Handle nuclear cardiology studies including Cardiolyte and thallium
• Board certification required with BLS certification
• Credentialing timeframe of 60-90 days
• Coverage needed starting August with ongoing opportunities
• Lodging available at Home2Suites or River Sage Inn with facility discounts
