Facility:
This is a well-established medical center offering comprehensive cardiovascular services with multiple specialty facilities including Otenzio Heart Center, the main hospital, and Hampden location. The cardiology practice features a robust team of electrophysiologists, interventionalists, non-invasive cardiologists, and advanced practice providers.
Opportunity:
Physician - Internal Medicine - Cardiology
Job Details:
• Non-Invasive Cardiology position with HIGHLY preferred skills in TEEs, Echo reading, Nuclear Medicine, and Stress Tests
• Practice as part of an established team consisting of 2 electrophysiologists, 10 APPs, 5 interventionalists, and 6 non-invasive cardiologists
• Provide both outpatient and inpatient cardiology services including ICU coverage
• Manage STEMI admissions with interventional backup always available on call
• Schedule involves 1-2 weeks per month, 8am-5pm with occasional 5pm-8am call (1-2 days)
• Required skills include echocardiography, TEE, nuclear cardiology, and STEMI management
• Experience with diagnostic invasive cardiology including PA catheter placement, IABP placement, cardiac catheterization, and heart biopsy
• Exposure to interventional procedures (angioplasty, stent placement, atherectomy) and electrophysiology procedures
• Rounding and call expectations may involve any of the three sites
• Minimum Board Certification Eligible required with active Pennsylvania medical license
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Level 2 trauma facility
• Credentialing timeframe: 60-120 days
