TMC Health is seeking a dedicated Cardiology Hospitalist to join our team at our 600+ bed flagship facility in central Tucson. This is an exceptional opportunity for a physician who thrives in acute care, values collaboration, and wants to make a meaningful impact within a well-established cardiovascular program.

Position Overview

In this role, you will provide acute in-patient cardiology care, partner with a strong hospitalist team, and work closely with our cardiac interventionists in the cath lab. While collaboration with outpatient and community cardiologists is expected, no STEMI coverage is required.

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
• Provide acute care cardiology consults for in‑patients.
• Offer overnight supervision and support for hospitalized cardiac patients.
• Collaborate closely with the hospitalist group on cardiology‑related care needs.
• Coordinate with outpatient and community cardiologists for continuity of care.
• Work alongside cardiac interventionists in the cath lab.
• Participate in multidisciplinary care planning and communication.
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in the EMR.
• Support quality, safety, and performance improvement efforts.
Note: This position does not require STEMI coverage.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an accredited Cardiology, Internal Medicine, or related residency/fellowship.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology (or applicable subspecialty).
• Eligible for Arizona medical licensure (or ability to obtain).
• Current DEA, or ability to obtain prior to start.
• Strong clinical skills in acute and hospital‑based cardiology.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work a full‑time, 40‑hour rotating shift schedule.
• Commitment to high‑quality, patient‑centered care.
