We need a Cardiologist or Cardiovascular Disease provider within 50 miles who would be willing to schedule an IME in January 2026 for a 274-page document. We need to make sure they are agreeable to the PRE-IME call with our Medical Director as well. the PRE-IME call is to ensure "you have a comprehensive understanding of our client's expectations for the Disability IME Report. It also provides an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have in advance of the IME. By addressing these potential issues beforehand, we can minimize the need for additional clarification
Job Responsibilities
Review Medical Records: Thoroughly review and analyze patient medical documents related to cardiology conditions.
Conduct Physical Exams: Perform in-person evaluations of patients with cardiology issues.
Address Clinical Questions: Respond to clinical queries from insurance carriers regarding Cardiology matters.
Prepare Reports: Deliver detailed IME reports within an expected turnaround time of 5 days.
Qualifications
Board Certification: Must be a board-certified Cardiologist
Experience: Previous experience in performing IMEs is a plus but not required.
Skills: Strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities.
