Facility:
This medical center is a Level 2 trauma facility offering comprehensive cardiac care services to the community. The facility features a 20-bed department, providing a collaborative environment with state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and a strong focus on patient-centered care.
Opportunity:
Physician (MD) - Internal Medicine - Cardiology
Job Details:
• Manage 18-20 patient encounters per shift in outpatient cardiology setting
• Perform and interpret echocardiography procedures
• Conduct transesophageal echo (TEE) procedures
• Perform and interpret nuclear cardiology studies (Cardiolyte, thallium, etc.)
• Inpatient cardiology experience preferred but not required
• Must maintain active Idaho medical license or have IMLC eligibility
• Board certification required with ACLS and BLS certifications
• Fellowship-trained (3 years) cardiologist preferred
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 60-90 days
• Position starting December 8, 2025 with ongoing assignment potential
• Accommodations available at nearby hotels including Fairfield, Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn Express, and Town Place Suites
• Accessible via Pocatello Regional Airport, Idaho Falls Regional Airport, or Salt Lake City International Airport
