The facility is a Level 2 trauma center with a strong commitment to excellence in cardiac care and collaborative medical teams.
Opportunity:
Non Invasive Cardiology
Job Details:
• Noninvasive Cardiologist Hospitalist position with 15-19 patient encounters per shift
• Schedule is 7 days on/7 days off with shifts running 7pm-7am
• Shift change starts Monday 7pm and signs out the following Monday at 7am
• Responsibilities include performing and interpreting TEEs (including evening and night TEEs)
• On-call coverage for night TEE procedures required
• Hospital rounding duties for cardiovascular patients
• Supervision of nuclear cardiology department
• No Echo, Nuclear, or EKG (Muse) reading responsibilities
• No APP supervision or APP support provided
• Shifts begin early January with long-term assignment potential
• Locum-to-perm opportunity (priority given to candidates interested in permanent positions)
• Board certification required with ACLS and BLS certifications
• Experience in inpatient cardiology, ICU, non-invasive procedures, echocardiography and TEE preferred
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 30-45 days
• Fellowship trained (3 years) cardiologist preferred
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included. Paid Travel and Lodging for Locums. Competitive Salary with comprehensive benefits for FT employed provider interested in permanent placement. Compensation is DOE and can be discussed during the interview process.
