Medicus is collaborating with a hospital in western Kentucky that has an opening for a skilled Interventional Cardiologist to provide locum coverage.
Opening Details:
- Schedule: 24-hour call shifts, 3-7 days per month
- Setting: Inpatient/EMTALA call
- Patient Population: Adults
- Duties: Procedures, general cardiology consults as needed, and reading studies (including EKGs, ECHOs, and stress tests)
- Required Procedures: Balloon angioplasties, coronary angioplasties, percutaneous coronary interventions, heart catheterizations, and coronary angiograms
- Support Staff: 2 interventional cardiologists
- EMR: Epic Cupid
- Board certification required
- Paid travel & expenses
