About the Role

A leading healthcare system in northern Michigan is seeking a General Cardiologist to join its growing team in Sault Ste. Marie. This position offers an excellent opportunity to step into strong community demand and help expand a cardiology service line with full support from colleagues and staff. Candidates must be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Cardiology —experienced physicians and graduating fellows are encouraged to apply.

Position Highlights

  • General Cardiology – outpatient clinic, inpatient consults, and test readings

  • No interventional or invasive procedures required

  • Outpatient clinic conveniently located on hospital campus

  • EPIC EMR system

  • Flexible schedule – potential for part-time onsite / part-time remote mix

  • Strong referral base and collegial support

  • Community-based practice with access to larger cardiology network

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD/DO)

  • Completion of accredited residency & fellowship in Cardiology

  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Cardiology

  • Eligible for unrestricted Michigan medical license and Controlled Substance License
