Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary:Up to $140,000; merit-based bonus possible; annual merit-based raise

Job Details:

  • Work schedule: Monday"Friday, 8:00 am " 4:30 pm; No weekends or on-call

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an NP or PA in cardiology (inpatient and outpatient required)

  • RN experience does not qualify

  • Hospitalist experience may count if it includes significant cardiac care

  • No new PA or NP graduates accepted

Must be comfortable independently evaluating and treating cardiac patients

Average 15 inpatients per day

2 outpatients per hour, either solo or with a cardiologist

No on-the-job training available

Experience independently performing cardiac stress tests preferred (training available)

Expertise in EKG interpretation required

Critical care experience (as NP or RN) preferred

Active NJ RN & NP or PA licenses, plus CDS and NJ DEA

Proof of prior malpractice insurance (including gap and, if claims-made, tail coverage)

Willingness to complete hospital and insurance credentialing (hospital: ~3 months, insurance: ~6 months)

Start date dependent on completion of hospital credentialing and required application materials

Must be up-to-date on flu vaccine and PPD (required by all affiliated hospitals)
