Job description
Cardiology locums position starting as soon as September 8th - credentialing can be prioritized but will accept a physician that can start later in September as well. This will be a three month contract with option to extend. The client is looking for a General Cardiologist or Invasive Cardiologist. The position is flexible to what the physician can and cannot do. Please see the below for more information, please keep in mind, these are not all required, some are preferred, but not required.
Job Responsibilities
Qualifications
Michigan State License or IMLC License
BLS, ACLS, DEA
Proctoring may be required depending on what type of procedures and reads the physician would be performing.
Case Logs - 50 in the last 12 Months
Credentialing takes about 30 days but applications are prioritized according to start date.
Working Hours
8 Hours with night call (if night call is not wanted, please let me know)
Skills
Imaging/Testing Reading
Procedures based on type of physician found and experience
- Diagnostic caths, TEE, Cardioversion...etc.
- Can do diagnostic catheter work if preferred but not required
