Position: Advanced Practice Provider – Cardiac Electrophysiology
Location: Seymour, Connecticut
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
Setting: On-Site – Outpatient & Inpatient Cardiac Electrophysiology

About the Role
We are seeking a Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) – to join a dynamic Cardiac Electrophysiology (EP) team in Seymour, CT . This full-time, on-site opportunity offers the chance to work alongside a nationally recognized EP program, delivering cutting-edge arrhythmia care across both inpatient and outpatient settings.

You will play a vital role in evaluating, managing, and educating patients undergoing electrophysiological procedures or living with complex rhythm disorders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage inpatient consults and follow-ups for patients with arrhythmias and other electrophysiology-related conditions

  • Conduct outpatient visits for pre- and post-procedural care and long-term rhythm management

  • Interpret EKGs, Holter and event monitors, and cardiac device interrogations (pacemakers, ICDs, loop recorders)

  • Participate in hospital rounding and collaborate with the electrophysiology and cardiology teams

  • Provide education and support to patients and families on procedures, medications, and device care

  • Support device clinics in coordination with EP techs and nursing staff

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR

  • Contribute to quality, safety, and process improvement initiatives in EP care

Qualifications

  • Active or eligible licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Connecticut

  • National board certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)

  • Prior experience in cardiology or electrophysiology preferred (1–2 years ideal)

  • Proficiency in interpreting cardiac rhythms and working with implanted cardiac devices

  • Strong clinical judgment, teamwork skills, and patient-centered mindset

  • Ability to function independently within established protocols
