We are seeking a LOCUMS General Cardiologist to support our expanding provider pool and assist with coverage gaps in our schedule. We are seeking a LOCUMS General Cardiologist to support our expanding provider pool and assist with coverage gaps in our schedule. Job Responsibilities
Provide hospital rounding and cardiology consults (note: on-site hospitalists admit and bed patients, consulting cardiology as needed)
Perform diagnostic reads including:
EKGs
Echocardiograms
Transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)
Nuclear studies
Outpatient clinic: See clinic patients for 2–4 hours per day (Monday through Friday only)
Remain available for call and emergent consults within the hospital as needed
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
Active NC medical license or LOQ for IMLC
ACLS/BLS certification
