Job description Due to growth and expansion of services within our Section of Cardiovascular Medicine , we are seeking cardiologists to join our General Consultative team faculty to provide high-quality cardiovascular care through both ambulatory clinic and inpatient services at our Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven, CT.

In addition to providing patient care, faculty members may have the opportunity to participate in the Section’s teaching and research missions.

Job Responsibilities

Providing both ambulatory (outpatient clinic) and inpatient cardiovascular care at Yale New Haven Hospital and potentially other Yale New Haven Health System facilities.

Diagnosing, managing, and treating patients with a broad range of cardiovascular conditions in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting.

Opportunities for engagement in the Section's academic missions, including medical education and research. This may involve mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows, participating in clinical or translational research, quality improvement projects, and program development.

Qualifications

Successful candidates must be fellowship trained in cardiovascular medicine and either Board Certified or Board Eligible. Candidates must meet criteria for appointment as an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Academic Clinician (AC) or Clinician Educator Scholar Track (CES).

Candidates with additional training, experience and interest in subspecialties including cardiac imaging, heart failure and prevention are also encouraged to apply.
