General Cardiologist Opportunity in State College, PA
A well-established health system in central Pennsylvania is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible General Cardiologist to join a growing cardiology team. This full-time position offers both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities and a generous $100,000 sign-on bonus.
Position Highlights:
Join a collegial team of 3 General Cardiologists, 3 Interventional Cardiologists, 2 Electrophysiologists, and 4 PA-Cs
Shared 1:5 call rotation
Dedicated Device Clinic for pacer and cardiac implant patients
1 Cath Lab and 4 Special Procedures Rooms (2 Echo, 2 Vascular) with a 5th room in development
EMR: Meditech Expanse (transitioning to Epic in summer 2026)
Community-based medicine model
Compensation & Benefits:
$100,000 sign-on bonus
Competitive base salary plus wRVU production incentives

Candidate Requirements:
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Board certified or board eligible in Cardiology
Eligible for Pennsylvania medical licensure
Strong clinical and communication skills
