Position: Non-Invasive Cardiologist with Inherited Cardiovascular Disease & HCM Experience
Location: Hartford, CT
Facility Type: Hospital & Outpatient Clinics
Opportunity Details:
Full-time position within a highly trained team of cardiovascular specialists
Provide care for a diverse, medically complex patient population
Work in both inpatient and outpatient settings
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including a dedicated cardiac genetic counselor
Lead the development of an Inherited Cardiovascular Disease Clinic in the East Region
Access to extensive clinical research opportunities
Procedures & Skills Required:
Nuclear, exercise, and pharmacological stress testing
Transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography
Carotid ultrasound studies
Diagnosis and management of inherited cardiovascular diseases, including:
- Inherited cardiomyopathies
- Inherited arrhythmia syndromes
- Neuromuscular disease-related cardiomyopathy
- Aortopathies and connective tissue diseases
Requirements:
Board Certification: Non-Invasive Cardiology (Board Eligible or Certified)
Experience: Inherited Cardiovascular Disease & HCM
Training: Specialized interest and experience in ICD management preferred
Research Experience: Preferred but not required
