Location: Located in the southeastern corner of Alabama and just 20 miles from Georgia and Florida. The county has a population of approximately 100,000 and is a progressive city that has embraced the new South while maintaining the southern charm and values of the past. Only an hour and a half to white sand beaches on the Florida Gulf coast and a short drive to the state's capital, Montgomery or just three hours to Atlanta or Birmingham.
Healthcare Organization: Community-based academic health system and not-for-profit medical center.
Opportunity: Seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery APP (PA or NP) to join well-established, hospital-employed practice
*Join 2 board-certified Cardiothoracic Surgeons and 2 Physician Assistants
*Cardiology, Intensivist, and Interventional Radiology support services 24/7
*Responsibilities include assisting in the OR, performing vein harvesting, facilitating hospital rounds, and seeing patients in post-op clinic
*daVinci robotic surgical system and Maquet EVH system available
*Experience with vein harvesting is required, and RNFA certification is required for CRNP's
*EMR is Epic
