**Cardiology with Inherited Cardiovascular Disease Experience in Hartford, CT** Hartford **Position Details** - Full time, employed - Proficiency in nuclear - Exercise and pharmacological stress testing, - Transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, and - Carotid ultrasound studies is required. - In-patient and outpatient roles in the region and the East Region. - The role provides consultative and follow-up care to adult cardiovascular patients. Seeking a full-time board certified/board eligible Non-Invasive Cardiology physician with Inherited Cardiovascular Disease experience to join a team of highly trained cardiovascular specialists.  Focus on delivering superb clinical care to a diverse, medically complex patient population in both the in-patient and outpatient arenas, supported by the highest-caliber cardiovascular invasive, diagnostic, and surgical services in a collaborative and multidisciplinary setting. The Inherited Cardiovascular Disease Program (ICDP) is a multidisciplinary program for the care and management of patients with inherited cardiomyopathies, inherited arrhythmia syndromes, neuromuscular disease-related cardiomyopathy and aortopathies/connective tissue diseases involving the aorta.  The successful candidate will have interest, training and experience in the work-up, diagnosis and treatment of ICD patients.  In collaboration with the Program Director and a dedicated cardiac genetic counselor, the candidate will initiate an Inherited Cardiovascular Disease Clinic in the East Region.  There are extensive clinical research opportunities available.  Research experience is a plus!Our broad network includes one of the largest academic and surgical hospitals in the northeast, thriving community teaching hospitals, and one of the largest multi-specialty medical groups in New England with more than 2,600 providers.This means more options to propel your career to new heights and all within a deeply embedded culture of inclusion, innovation, and focus on the highest quality of care.  We are teachers, researchers, leaders, and, most of all, caregivers.Located near Boston and New York City, Connecticut offers a lifestyle that is second to none.
