**Cardiologist - Non Invasive opening in Peoria, IL** - Centrally located to Chicago, St. Louis, and Indianapolis **About the Job:** - Full Time, Permanent - Join an established cardiology practice that includes Heart Failure, Electrophysiology, Interventional, Invasive, and Non-Invasive Cardiology specialists - Each Physician has an RN and MOA, with the opportunity and goal to add an APP as an extender - Assess, diagnosis and treat cardiac disease states in both an inpatient and outpatient setting - Valve Clinic and TAVR program - Inpatient management at 3 Hospital campuses and outpatient Clinic responsibilities at eight clinic sites in the Central Illinois Region - Nuclear stress tests at all three hospitals - Call schedule requirement: 1 in 7 rotating weeknight call in the Hospital; weekend call is 7 am Friday to 7 am Monday on a 1 in 7 rotation - Average of 20 patients/day in the hospital - Collaborate with the Hospitalist team, other specialists, and cardiology colleagues for a multidisciplinary approach to patient care - Located on the Illinois River, Peoria is a vibrant, affordable, and convenient city with multiple dining and entertainment venues as well as nearby residential communities with highly ranked public-school districts **Compensation Package:** - Excellent benefit package - Health/dental/life insurance - 403-B plan with employer match - LTD - Relocation allowance - CME allowance - Paid malpractice insurance with 100% tail insurance covered - Not-for-profit organization with public service loan forgiveness eligibility **Info on team** - A flexible, collaborative, and highly talented group that works together as a team and takes a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. - Large, loyal group of employed referring Primary Care providers - First in the region to perform the TCAR procedure and establish a CTO program - Monitoring and EKGs at all of eight local Cardiovascular clinics and three hospitals - Echo reading available at many of our outlying facilities - Medical Director currently involved in 12 Cardiology research studies **About the Healthcare System:** Based in Urbana, IL, this network is a vertically integrated system with more than 9,500 employees in its five hospitals, multi-specialty physician groups, health plan and associated healthcare businesses, the worlds first engineering-based medical school.
