Compensation:

• Direct from Training: $600,000/year plus productivity incentive bonus plan. Forgivable loan for educational debt considered.
• With 3 or More Years of Practice Experience: $600,000 – $650,000/year plus productivity incentive bonus plan

Situation: Physician Services is a 150+ provider, two multi-specialty group affiliated with the not-for-profit Health System, the largest medical provider serving a 300,000 population region composed of West Central Illinois, Northeast Missouri, and Southeast Iowa. The System operates a premier Hospital, a 307-bed regional referral center. The group seeks to expand its Cardiology Department by adding additional physicians at its clinic in a select city in Northeastern MO. Sub-specialty support is available in virtually every field. Lab, x-ray, MRI, and extremity CT are present in the clinic building’s diagnostic center. Board Certification is an expectation of all of our physicians. Base salary equals the MGMA median, and all physicians are eligible for a productivity incentive bonus plan based on work production as measured by WRVU’s. Hospital was named one of 2011’s “100 Best Places to Work in Healthcare” by Modern Healthcare magazine, and it ranks among the Nation’s top eight percent “Most Wired” hospitals.

Community: Hospital is headquartered in Illinois just across the MO/Ill border, population 45,000, which is located on high limestone bluffs overlooking the Mississippi River near the westernmost point of Illinois. It has a highly diverse economic and employment base, and consistently has one of the lowest unemployment rates in Illinois. It has been cited as one of the 50 top small arts communities in the U.S. and one of the Top 100 small cities in which to live in the U.S. In 2010, Forbes Magazine rated it as the 8th Best Small City in the U.S. to Raise a Family.

The community also offers excellent public and parochial schools, a public 2-year community college, a private 4-year university, two private vocational colleges, fine dining, expansive and well developed parks, and abundant recreational facilities. An $89 million school bond issue was passed in 2014. Five new state-of-the-art elementary schools have been built to replace aging and outdated buildings.
