Join a well-established inpatient cardiology team at a respected healthcare system in the Western U.S. This assignment offers a manageable patient census, no clinic requirements, and comprehensive support from a dedicated intensivist team.
Position Highlights
--Coverage needed: January - March 2027
--100% Inpatient Cardiology
--No clinic responsibilities
--Schedule: Monday 7:00 AM - Monday 7:00 AM
--Daily inpatient coverage: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
--On-call coverage after hours
--Overnight consults are typically evaluated the following morning
--Average daily census: 6-12 patients
--Dedicated Intensivist team manages ICU rounding and support
--Local candidates preferred
Clinical Responsibilities
--General inpatient cardiology coverage
--Pacemaker management
--Stress testing
--EKG interpretation
--Echocardiograms (Echos)
--Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE)
--No Cath Lab or Interventional Procedures Required
