Position Overview
Reid Health is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join an established and well-supported cardiology program in Richmond, Indiana. This position is available due to an upcoming physician retirement.
The cardiology department includes 12 cardiologists and 6 nurse practitioners, with strong support from cardiovascular and vascular surgery teams.
The role includes a combination of outpatient cardiology, inpatient rounding, and rotating call coverage.

Cardiology Services
The program offers a broad range of cardiovascular services, including:
- TAVR
- High-risk PCI with Impella/IABP
- Watchman
- Diagnostic cardiac catheterization
- Echocardiography
- Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
- Nuclear stress testing
- Treadmill stress testing
- Holter and event monitoring
- EKG
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
- Board certification must be obtained within 5 years of residency for candidates applying as Board Eligible
- Active Indiana medical license or IMLC eligibility
- BLS required
- ACLS required when requesting conscious sedation privileges
- Newly trained fellows are welcome
- Practicing cardiologists are welcome
- Flu vaccination required, unless eligible for a medical or religious exemption

The health system includes a 220+ bed regional hospital, Level III Trauma Center, comprehensive cardiology program, open-heart services, diagnostic and interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, TAVR, cardiac rehabilitation, and a 30-bed ICU/CCU.
