Piedmont Cartersville Medical Center is a 139-bed acute care hospital serving Northwest Georgia, offering comprehensive cardiovascular services, a Level III Trauma Center, and Certified Primary Stroke Center as part of the nationally recognized Piedmont Healthcare system.
The established cardiovascular program is supported by employed physicians from Atrium Health, part of Advocate Health, and Harbin Clinic. The team provides comprehensive cardiovascular services at Piedmont Cartersville Medical Center, delivering high-quality care to a growing regional population.
Cartersville is less than an hour from Atlanta, offering an exceptional quality of life with convenient access to the amenities of a major metropolitan area and the flexibility to reside in the greater Atlanta area.
Opportunity Details
- Full-time, 1.0 FTE non-invasive cardiology position
- Opportunity created due to continued practice growth and increasing patient demand
- Join three established invasive/interventional cardiologists
- Primarily clinic- and imaging-based practice
- Cardiac CT preferred, but not required
- Cardiac MRI optional (see requirements section)
- Limited weekend call coverage with inpatient rounding; no Monday through Thursday call responsibilities

- Be part of an integrated nationally recognized organization with physician-led medical group and embedded service line
- Leverage access to DAX Copilot, an AI-powered clinical documentation tool integrated with Epic, streamlining clinical workflows by generating draft patient notes for efficient review, editing, and signature
Compensation
- Two-year salary floor $595K
- Sign-on bonus $60K
- Relocation and clinical performance incentive
Requirements
- BE/BC cardiovascular disease
- BE/BC echo
- BE/BC nuclear
- BE/BC cardiac CT (if applicable)
- BE/BC cardiac MRI (if applicable)
- For Cardiac MRI-completion of advanced cardiac imaging fellowship preferred but not required
- Georgia medical license
