Job description
I’m working with an established, physician-owned multispecialty group in Southeastern Massachusetts that is looking to add a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible, fellowship-trained Non-Invasive Cardiologist to its established Cardiology Division. The position offers a combination of outpatient cardiology and inpatient consultation with a strong referral base and comprehensive cardiac services.
Opportunity Highlights:
- Established Cardiology Division within a large multispecialty group
- Mix of outpatient cardiology and inpatient consultations
- Large, established patient base and strong Primary Care referral network
- Extensive outpatient cardiac testing, including 3-D echocardiography, nuclear stress testing, cardiac CT and Holter monitoring
- Cardiologists interpret EKGs, Holters, echocardiograms and cardiac stress tests
- Weekly rotating hospital consultation responsibilities
- Support from 4 cardiac NPs/PAs in the hospital
- Inpatient responsibilities include CHF, dysrhythmias, acute MIs and other acutely ill cardiac patients
- Hospital offers cardiac catheterization, coronary interventions, ICU and cardiac telemetry
- Nearby tertiary capabilities include electrophysiology, open-heart surgery and structural heart interventions
