Med Ninjas is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiologist for long term locum tenens coverage at a inpatient and outpatient facility located in Albany, NY
The Physician must be available for the complete coverage block from Start Date to end date
Permanent Non-Invasive Cardiologist
Position Type: Permanent

Shift: Flexible options including weekend rounding, 40-hour hospital/clinic schedule, or hospital-only 7-on/7-off shifts
Start Date: Upon credentialing
End Date: Permanent
Position Details:
Patient Population: Adult patients requiring inpatient and outpatient cardiology care
Setting: St. Peter’s Hospital and Samaritan Hospital; inpatient and outpatient cardiology
Responsibilities: Hospital rounding, outpatient clinic visits, inpatient and outpatient cardiology care, participation in weekend coverage and on-call duties, collaboration with multidisciplinary cardiology teams
Required Procedures: Inpatient cardiology rounding and comprehensive non-invasive cardiology care
EMR System: Epic
Support Staff: Multidisciplinary cardiology team across Albany and Troy locations
Days Per Month: Full-time or flexible scheduling options
On-Call/Weekends: 1:5 weekend call rotation; hospital rounding every 5th weekend; telephone overnight support with rare in-person requirements
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Truly Board Eligible; Board Certification required within 2 years of hire
- Fellowship-trained in Cardiology
- NY License or willing to obtain
- Most recent NPDB Self Query Report within 30 days, required at presentation
