Practice Highlights

• Provide comprehensive outpatient noninvasive cardiology care
• Manage an established patient panel alongside a physician and two Advanced Practice Providers
• Perform and interpret EKGs for diagnostic evaluation and treatment planning
• Conduct and interpret ambulatory cardiac monitoring
• Perform transthoracic echocardiography (TTE)
• Potential to perform nuclear stress testing and stress echocardiography
• Device management experience is preferred but not required
• Coordinate with regional referral centers for inpatient and advanced cardiovascular needs
• Collaborate with specialists across internal medicine, neurology, orthopaedics, and other disciplines
• Strong emphasis on patient safety, accurate diagnosis, quality documentation, and continuity of care

Requirements

• MD/DO with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Cardiology
• Board-eligible candidates should provide date of graduation
• Current Vermont medical license or willingness to obtain
• CPR/BLS certification required prior to start
• DEA required prior to start
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience; new graduates with less than one year of experience are not being considered
