Locums – Ronceverte, West Virginia, Cardiology Opening (IMLC Accepted)

Clinical Role

• Ideal start date: November 2, 2026, or ASAP
• 6-month assignment with option to extend
• Coverage needed 2-3 weeks per month
• Adult patients ages 18+
• Approximately 22-24 patients per day
• New patient visits: 30 minutes
• Established patient visits: 15 minutes

Schedule & Call

• Clinic hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-4:30 pm
• 24-hour call coverage based on the existing call rotation
• When covering hospital call:
  • Monday, Wednesday, and Friday clinic: 1:00 pm-4:00 pm
  • Tuesday and Thursday: Full clinic day
• Minimal nighttime call activity

Practice Setting & Support

• Support from RNs and technicians
• Evaluation and management of new and established patients
• Cardiac risk assessments
• Pacemaker checks
• EKG interpretation and supervision
• Holter monitor placement
• Treadmill and nuclear stress testing
• TEEs
• Cardioversions

Requirements & Credentialing

• Board certification required
• Active West Virginia license or IMLC pathway accepted
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• EKG, TEE, and nuclear stress testing skills required
• DEA required
• CSR required
• Clean background required
