Job description PeaceHealth Northwest Medical Center in Washington is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiologist for hospital-based locum coverage to fill a gap in coverage. Primary focus is hospital-based support, though privileges cover both clinic and hospital. 247-bed facility. Call is light: 1:6 average, and the only admits are STEMIs, a couple per week. Everything else is consults and follow-up rounds. ARNP support every day except Sunday.

Job Responsibilities

Echo, cardiac nuclear, TEE, and cardioversion reads and procedures required. Nuclear board certification not required but cardiac nuclear medicine experience required. Rounding and consults on 14-16 patients per day. STEMI admissions, a couple per week. Case logs required documenting cardiovascular disease services matching scope of privileges over the last 24 months.

Qualifications

Board certified cardiology. WA license and DEA preferred in hand for expedited credentialing, but IMLC accepted and non-licensed candidates will be considered as of 2/24/26. BLS and ACLS from AHA or Red Cross required. Epic EMR.

Working Hours

5x8-hour days, 7am to 3pm. Call 1:6 average. 8 hours non-billable orientation. 4 hours gratis on 24-hour weekend call. $300/hr.
