Job description
An ongoing locum tenens opportunity is available for a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to provide hospital-based inpatient coverage in South Carolina.
This opportunity is well suited for a fellowship-trained cardiologist with strong inpatient consultative experience who is comfortable performing TEE, cardioversions, and supervising cardiac stress testing.
Patient Volume
-
Primary inpatient census approximately 90–100 patients
-
Additional site census approximately 55–60 patients daily
-
Limited inpatient cardiology volume at the additional site
-
STEMI admissions managed by Interventional Cardiology
Requirements
-
MD or DO
-
Fellowship trained in Cardiology
-
Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years
-
Active South Carolina medical license
-
Active SC DEA
-
Active SC CSR
-
BLS and ACLS
-
TEE experience
-
Cardioversion experience
-
Stress testing supervision experience
-
Inpatient cardiology experience
-
Ability to provide night and weekend call
