Job description
We are seeking a Cardiologist for a locum tenens position in Canton, OH. This is a hospital-based, non-invasive general cardiology opportunity providing inpatient coverage. Please see below for more information.
- Acute care hospital
- Trauma Level: Adult II, III, IV
- EMR: Epic
Job Responsibilities
Round on hospital patients for general cardiology coverage
Evaluate new cardiology consults
Follow up on in-house patients
Interpret and read EKGs as needed
Manage a busy inpatient cardiology service with census-driven patient volumes
No procedures required
No telemedicine services required
Qualifications
Ohio state license required; IMLC accepted
Working Hours
8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Scheduled coverage plus on-call required
Weeknight call coverage required
Weekend call coverage required
