Locum General Cardiologist – Putnam, Connecticut
Day Kimball Health, a 100-bed community hospital in Putnam, Connecticut, is urgently seeking a General Cardiologist for locum tenens coverage.
Assignment Details
- Coverage dates: September 7–11 and September 14–18, 2026 - Ongoing
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Setting: Mix of inpatient and outpatient general cardiology
- No weekends
- No call
- Additional ongoing coverage may be available
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient general cardiology services
- Complete inpatient rounding and cardiology consultations
- Evaluate and manage a broad range of cardiovascular conditions
- Interpret routine non-invasive cardiac studies as needed
- Collaborate with hospitalists, APPs, nursing staff, and other specialists
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
- Active Connecticut medical license or ability to obtain one
- Active DEA
- Comfortable working in both inpatient and outpatient settings
