The Opportunity
Join one of the nation's top-five medical schools in establishing a new noninvasive cardiology practice in one of the Mid-Atlantic's fastest-growing and most desirable communities. The cardiovascular team includes several interventional cardiologists and electrophysiologists operating from a state-of-the-art, Philips-equipped three-room cath lab, complemented by a new heart failure program and an emerging pulmonary embolism program. With strong referral alignment, robust specialty support already in place, and a deeply integrated regional health system partnership, this position offers a rare and career-defining opportunity - the chance to serve as the founding clinical voice of a premier cardiovascular program in a dynamic, rapidly expanding market.
Job Responsibilities
• Help shape a new noninvasive cardiology practice, defining clinical direction, culture, and standards of care.
• Provide high-quality outpatient cardiovascular care, including consultative cardiology, imaging interpretation, and longitudinal patient management.
• Build and grow the practice in a rapidly expanding market, supported by strong referral alignment from a large primary care network.
• Collaborate closely with interventional and electrophysiology colleagues already serving the region to ensure seamless, coordinated cardiovascular care.
• Partner with a deeply integrated regional health system and its expanding cardiovascular service line to strengthen community access and continuity of care.
• Help define clinical protocols, workflows, and quality initiatives that reflect best practices and the expectations of a top-five U.S. medical school.
• Participate in community outreach and relationship-building to enhance visibility and support practice growth.
• Contribute to a patient-centered, team-based environment that emphasizes access, communication, and exceptional outcomes.

Qualifications
• MD or DO degree from an accredited U.S. medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease (ABIM or AOA)
• Active or eligible for medical licensure in Maryland
• Unrestricted DEA certificate
• Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to collaborative, patient-centered care
