A well-established community hospital in Southern Illinois is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible General/Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join its growing cardiology service line.
This is a full-time, hospital-employed opportunity offering a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient care, strong administrative support, and long-term stability in a community-focused environment.
Job Responsibilities
Interpret diagnostic studies (echo, stress tests, etc.)
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Participate in a shared call schedule
Maintain high-quality, patient-centered care
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
Eligible for or able to obtain Illinois medical license
Minimum 2–3 years of cardiology experience preferred
Strong clinical and communication skills
Working Hours
Standard clinic + hospital coverage
Shared call (manageable schedule)
