Job description
• We are seeking a Board-Certified Non-Invasive Cardiologist for a locum tenens opportunity at a reputable acute care hospital in Chambersburg, PA.
• This role offers consistent scheduling with 1–2 weeks of coverage per month and potential ongoing engagement (minimum 6 months).
• Join a collaborative cardiology team with Interventional and Electrophysiology support available onsite.
• Manage a steady patient census in a well-equipped facility utilizing EPIC EMR.

Job Responsibilities
• Interpret diagnostic studies including echocardiograms, Holter monitors, stress tests (including nuclear), and EKGs
• Perform procedures such as TEE (Transesophageal Echocardiogram) and cardioversions
• Conduct stress testing and evaluate cardiovascular conditions
• Collaborate with interventional and EP cardiology teams
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR
Qualifications
• Active Pennsylvania License or IMLC LOQ (Required)
• Valid DEA License
• ACLS and BLS Certifications (Required)
• CTA reading skills preferred
• Experience in non-invasive cardiology required
• Clean credentialing file for processing (~90 days minimum)
Working Hours
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (8-hour shifts with 1-hour lunch)
• 1–2 weeks per month ongoing
• Occasional weeknight and weekend call coverage as needed
• Start Date: September 1, 2026
Skills
• Proficiency in reading ECHO, EKG, Holter, and stress tests
• Experience with TEE and cardioversion procedures
• Ability to manage patient census of 25–35 per day
• Excellent clinical judgment and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR system
