Permanent Opportunity – Non-Invasive Cardiology Location: Muskegon and Ludington, Michigan
Position OverviewA full-time Non-Invasive Cardiologist (MD/DO) is needed to join a growing cardiovascular team serving communities along the West Michigan lakeshore. The physician will work within a collaborative regional cardiovascular network delivering comprehensive cardiac care across outpatient clinics and hospital settings.

Provide non-invasive cardiology consultations and evaluations

Diagnose and manage:
-
Cardiomyopathy
-
Coronary artery disease (CAD)

Arrhythmias
-
Valvular heart disease
-
Congestive heart failure

Develop individualized treatment plans
-
Participate in Congestive Heart Failure Clinic

Manage patients with lipid disorders and cardiovascular risk factors

Perform pre-surgical cardiac evaluations

Perform and interpret diagnostic testing including:

Echocardiography
-
Transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)

Provide inpatient cardiology consultations
-
Collaborate with APPs, nurses, and clinical staff
-
Assist with management and remote monitoring of:

Pacemakers
-
Implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs)

The role participates in the Cardiovascular Network of West Michigan, a partnership. The program supports a comprehensive cardiovascular service line including:

Interventional cardiology
-
Structural heart procedures (ASD, PFO, TAVR)

Electrophysiology
-
Cardiothoracic surgery
The physician will collaborate with specialists performing:

Cardiac catheterization
-
Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)
-
Electrical cardioversion
-
Pacemaker and ICD implantation
-
Structural heart procedures
Board Certification
-
Board Certified in Cardiology or
-
Board Eligible with certification required within 2 years
