A well-established and collegial cardiology practice in a coastal South Florida community is seeking an experienced Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Noninvasive Cardiologist to join its growing team. This opportunity offers the ability to quickly build a busy practice due to strong regional demand for cardiovascular services.
The ideal candidate will have expertise and interest in advanced cardiovascular imaging, including echocardiography, cardiac CT, and cardiac MRI. The position includes a mix of inpatient and outpatient consultative cardiology within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform and interpret a full range of non-invasive cardiac imaging studies, including transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography (TTE/TEE).
Interpret and utilize advanced imaging modalities, including cardiac CT and cardiac MRI.
Provide imaging support and guidance for structural heart procedures such as TAVR, MitraClip, and ASD/PFO closures.
Participate in multidisciplinary structural heart team conferences.
Provide consultative cardiology services in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Collaborate with referring physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive cardiovascular care.
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, program development, and educational activities as applicable.
Qualifications
MD or DO degree.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.
Level II or III training in echocardiography required.
Fellowship training in cardiac CT or cardiac MRI preferred.
Florida medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Practice Environment
This position is affiliated with a large acute care hospital in South Florida that serves communities across southern Palm Beach County and northern Broward County. The facility includes nearly 500 inpatient beds, employs more than 1,600 healthcare professionals, and works with 600+ physicians across multiple specialties. The hospital also functions as a Provisional Level I Trauma Center, offering comprehensive medical and surgical services supported by highly trained clinical teams.
