Job Responsibilities
- Manage advanced heart failure and LVAD patients
- Interpret and perform electrocardiograms (EKGs)
- Provide inpatient consults and outpatient cardiology care
- Participate in rotating night and weekend call
- Supervise and collaborate with advanced practice providers
- Coordinate multidisciplinary cardiovascular care plans
- Maintain high-quality documentation within EPIC EMR
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Cardiology
- Advanced Heart Failure Fellowship training required
- LVAD experience required
- Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) Certification required
- Active or eligible for Virginia medical license
- Active DEA registration
- ACLS certification
- Clean professional background
