A well-established cardiology practice in Nags Head, North Carolina is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Non-Invasive General Cardiologist to join its growing team. Supported by a premier regional heart and vascular program, this position offers a balanced schedule, scenic living, and outstanding benefits in one of the most picturesque coastal regions in the country.
Job Responsibilities
Interpret diagnostic tests such as echocardiograms, stress tests, Holter monitors, etc.
Collaborate with a team including one cardiologist and three APPs
Coordinate care with local specialists (IM, FM, ENT, Ortho, Surgery, Oncology, Urology, OB/GYN)
Utilize a centralized referral office for streamlined patient flow
Participate in practice development and patient education initiatives
Access integrated system-wide EPIC EMR
Maintain hospital privileges at the local full-service hospital
Qualifications
Eligible for North Carolina medical licensure – Required
Strong clinical experience in non-invasive cardiology
Interest in practicing in a community-focused, coastal setting
New grads and experienced physicians encouraged to apply
Commitment to delivering evidence-based, high-quality care
Working Hours
36 hours/week clinical care + 4 hours/week administrative time
Outpatient clinic located on the hospital medical campus
On-site lab services for immediate access to diagnostics
Supportive, team-based environment
Skills
Proficiency in ECG interpretation, echocardiography, and stress testing
Strong documentation and EMR navigation skills
Patient-centered approach and dedication to improving outcomes
Ability to manage a broad spectrum of cardiovascular cases
