A leading health system in eastern North Carolina is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Non-Invasive General Cardiologist to join an established cardiology practice in Nags Head, NC. The position offers the opportunity to work in one of the most desirable coastal communities in the country, with access to beautiful beaches and a supportive medical environment. The successful candidate will receive full support from a comprehensive heart and vascular care network.
A $100,000 sign-on bonus is available for this position.
Job Responsibilities
Work closely with a well-established team including 1 physician and 3 Advanced Practice Providers
Utilize a newly renovated clinic with on-site laboratory services
Collaborate with local specialists including Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, ENT, Orthopedics, General Surgery, OB/GYN, Hematology/Oncology, and Urology
Manage referrals through a Central Referral Office
Use system-wide integrated EMR (EPIC)
Qualifications
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiology
Ability to obtain North Carolina medical licensure
Excellent clinical skills in general cardiology
J-1 and H-1B visa sponsorship not available
Working Hours
36 hours of clinical patient care per week
4 hours of administrative time per week
No specified bonus structure
Loan repayment and relocation assistance may be available

Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams
