Opportunity Overview
- General Cardiology physician needed for ongoing full-time coverage
- Clinic and hospital setting
- Adult patient population
- Approximately 17-18 patients per day
- 150-bed hospital
- EPIC EMR
- APP support available, with Interventional Cardiology support when needed
Schedule & Coverage
- Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM
- 30-minute lunch
- Occasional weekday call
- Approximately 1-2 nights of call per week
- Weekend call approximately 1:4-5
- 24-hour weekend call
- Full-time coverage required
- Average callback volume is minimal, though weekend rounding is required
Clinical Details
- General Cardiology clinic and procedures
- In-lab coverage approximately 3 days per week
- Nuclear imaging reads
- Stress tests
- Transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)
- Cardioversions
- Echo monitoring
- CT interpretation preferred but not required
- Must be nuclear board certified and echo board certified
- CT board certification is a plus
- Clinic currently has one full-time physician
Requirements
- MD/DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
- Nuclear board certification required
- Echo board certification required
- CT board certification preferred
- Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC accepted
- DEA required
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Clean file may qualify for temporary privileges
- Credentialing timeframe: temporary privileges available for qualified candidates
