Job description
We are seeking a Cardiologist for a locum tenens position in Potsdam, NY. This is an excellent opportunity to provide comprehensive cardiology services at a Level III trauma center in a solo practice setting, with a dynamic mix of outpatient clinic, stress test supervision, and inpatient consultations. The facility utilizes Epic EMR. Please see below for more information.
Job Responsibilities
• Supervise and interpret cardiac stress testing
• Provide inpatient cardiology consultations
• Direct comprehensive cardiology services across multiple clinical settings
Qualifications
• State Medical License: New York (in hand required)
• DEA Registration
• AHA/RQI Certifications required
• Epic EMR proficiency (required)
Working Hours
• Outpatient clinic: approximately 3 days per week
• Cardiac stress test supervision: approximately 1 day per week
• Hospital consultation service: ad hoc rotation
• On-call coverage: 4:00 PM – 8:00 AM (as needed to fill gaps)
