Job description
We are seeking a General Cardiology physician for a locum tenens position in Lewisburg, PA. This is a full-time inpatient and outpatient coverage opportunity at an acute care hospital with an associated clinic. Please see below for more information.
- Beds: 150
- EMR: Epic
Job Responsibilities
See approximately 17–18 patients per day
Work in the lab 3 days per week
Perform special procedures including nuclear reads, stress tests, TEEs, cardioversions, and echo monitor reads
Provide CT reads (preferred)
Provide weeknight and weekend call coverage with weekend rounding as needed
Work alongside APP support with Interventional cardiology coverage
Care for adult patient population in an acute care hospital and clinic setting
Qualifications
Nuclear boarded
Echo boarded
CT boarded (preferred)
Active Pennsylvania state license (IMLC accepted)
DEA
Working Hours
1–2 nights of call per week
Weekend call rotation of 1:4 or 1:5
Start Date: 6/15/2026
Contract Length: Ongoing (6-month minimum)
Employment Type: Locum Tenens – 1099
