Invasive Cardiology Opportunity in Jacksonville, FL
Position Overview:
* Established private single-specialty cardiology and peripheral vascular practice
* Join a team of 8 cardiologists, including 5 interventional cardiologists, 1 electrophysiologist, and 2 non-invasive cardiologists
* One interventional cardiologist is also fellowship-trained in structural heart procedures
* High-volume practice with referrals from more than 100 referring providers
* Large established patient population
* Immediate opportunity to build a busy procedural practice
* Main office located directly across from a 450-bed hospital
* Strong support from 7 ARNPs and experienced clinical staff
Practice Highlights:
* General cardiology responsibilities combined with invasive cardiology
* Office consultations and follow-up
* Hospital rounding and cardiology consultations
* Coronary diagnostic angiography
* PCI for appropriate low-risk patients
* Peripheral vascular interventions
* Patients are admitted through hospitalists or primary care physicians
* Cardiologists provide consultation rather than primary inpatient management
* After-hours responsibilities are generally limited to phone calls
* Occasional coverage at nearby satellite offices, typically for an entire clinic day

* Advanced cardiac ablation procedures
* PFO closure
* Comprehensive structural heart program
Upcoming ASC:
* New two-room ambulatory surgery center currently under construction
* Expected to open by mid-2027
* Will expand the practice's outpatient procedural capabilities
Requirements:
* MD or DO
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
* Invasive Cardiology training and experience
* Strong general cardiology skills
* Comfortable with invasive coronary procedures
* Interest or experience in peripheral vascular disease preferred
* Ability to recognize and manage both cardiac and peripheral vascular conditions
* Nuclear Cardiology boards preferred
