The Opportunity

Abrazo Medical Group - Biltmore Cardiology is seeking a fellowship-trained general cardiologist to join its established cardiovascular team in Phoenixs West Valley.

Serving the greater Phoenix community since 1994, Biltmore Cardiology is a comprehensive cardiovascular practice with expertise spanning General Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Structural Heart, and Cardiothoracic Surgery.

This position combines an outpatient clinic-based practice with defined inpatient coverage at Abrazo West Campus. The incoming physician will join an experienced team with an established referral base, broad subspecialty collaboration, and access to advanced cardiovascular resources. New graduates and experienced cardiologists are encouraged to apply.

Practice Highlights

• Comprehensive outpatient and inpatient general cardiology practice

• One seven-day inpatient coverage week per month at Abrazo West Campus, shared among four general cardiologists; no outpatient clinic during that week and no STEMI call

• Approximately three weeks per month of Monday-Friday outpatient clinic, averaging 20-25 patients per day

• Shared night phone coverage approximately one to two nights per week

• Dedicated clinic days at Buckeye and Abrazo West, approximately 10-15 minutes apart

• Onsite diagnostics include echocardiography, treadmill stress testing, nuclear imaging, vascular ultrasound, and ambulatory heart rhythm monitoring

• Access to cath and EP labs, TEE, advanced imaging, and additional cardiovascular resources at Abrazo West Campus

• Dedicated medical assistant plus scheduling, operational, and service-line support

• Established referral base with marketing and practice-development support

• EMR: Athena in the clinic and Cerner in the hospital

Candidate Qualifications

• MD or DO with completed fellowship training in cardiovascular disease

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease

• Eligible for Arizona medical licensure

• New graduates and experienced cardiologists will be considered

This full-time employed opportunity through Tenet Physician Resources includes a competitive 12-month salary guarantee with productivity upside, transitioning to a productivity-based model after the guarantee period.
