Job description
We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Cardiologist for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing inpatient cardiology consults and handling call responsibilities independently.
Job Responsibilities
Must be comfortable working independently in a hospital setting
Ability to navigate and interpret results from multiple diagnostic platforms
Strong communication and organizational skills essential
Supportive clinical team and administrative staff
Qualifications
Active state medical license (or ability to obtain)
Minimum commitment of 1-2 weeks per month
Experience with various EHRs and diagnostic systems preferred
ACLS/BLS certification (if required by facility)
Working Hours
*Mon-Fri | 8a-5p clinic then 5p-8a weeknight call
*Sat-Sun | 8a-8a 24hr weekend call
Skills
etc. Will have a PA-C with them in the AM to assist most days
For Call:
Typically doesn't require to come in unless it's a start TEE for a dissection. Rare for
these but do occur from time to time. Most calls can be managed over the phone and triaged
from hotel.
