Job description
A well-established cardiology program in Western Nebraska is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Cardiologist to join a dynamic and innovative team. This full-time position offers the chance to deliver exceptional cardiac care through a partnership between regional and tertiary care centers, backed by a robust heart and vascular program serving Nebraska, Wyoming, and Northern Colorado.
Job Responsibilities
Diagnose and manage a full spectrum of cardiovascular conditions
Collaborate with a dedicated team of two local cardiologists and a broader regional network
Refer and coordinate care for complex cardiac cases with affiliated tertiary care centers
Participate in multi-disciplinary case discussions and heart team conferences
Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives and innovation in cardiac care
Access system-wide protocols, support, and resources for evidence-based practice
Stay involved in ongoing clinical trials and advanced treatment options for eligible patients
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease – Required (must be within 5 years of fellowship if BE)
Completion of cardiology fellowship prior to start – Required
Nebraska medical license or in process – Required
Clean malpractice history – Preferred
Not accepting visa candidates (H1B or J1)
Open to 2024 fellowship graduatesno

Shared call supported by a regional team to ease burden and enhance work-life balance
Clinical time focused on outpatient care, with support for inpatient consults when needed
