Locums | Interventional Cardiology | Paducah, KY (KY license or IMLC)
Why This Role
KY license or IMLC accepted
Inpatient call only; no clinic
3–7 days/month
Other interventional cardiologists onsite
Defined holiday coverage blocks
Assignment Details
Coverage dates: November 23–26, December 1–4, and December 29–January 1
Availability: 3–7 days/month
Schedule: Inpatient/EMTALA call coverage, including weekend coverage as scheduled
Coverage type: Interventional and general cardiology call; no ambulatory work
Setting: Hospital-based inpatient care
Population: Adults
Support: 2 interventional cardiologists in the group; other interventional cardiologists present during locum coverage
EMR: Epic
Clinical Details
Balloon and coronary angioplasty
Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)
Heart catheterization and coronary angiography
Respond to all hospital cardiology calls
General cardiology consultations as needed
Interpret EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests, including nuclear stress studies
Requirements
BC required
Active KY license or IMLC
Current ACLS
Active DEA
COVID vaccination preferred
