Interventional Cardiologist Opportunity
Located in Erie, PA - Buffalo, NY 95m
Full-time, permanent position
Position Overview
Interventional Cardiology opportunity within an established cardiovascular program
High-volume coronary interventional practice, including complex PCI
Combination of inpatient rounding, consultations, admissions, outpatient clinic, and interventional procedures
Opportunities to expand structural heart and peripheral vascular interventions
Emphasis on work-life balance
New graduates and experienced physicians encouraged to apply
Qualifications
MD or DO degree
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
Completion of an ACGME-accredited Interventional Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship
Experience with structural heart and peripheral vascular interventions preferred
Pennsylvania medical license required prior to employment
Practice Highlights
Established cardiovascular team consisting of 3 Non-Invasive Cardiologists, 4 Interventional Cardiologists, 2 Electrophysiologists, and 14 APPs
High-volume coronary interventions, including complex Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
Mechanical circulatory support and ECMO for cardiogenic shock
Interventional therapies for pulmonary embolism
Opportunities to expand the percutaneous vascular intervention program
Established Structural Heart Program, including:
- Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)
- Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion (LAAO)
- Planned MitraClip program
Strong support from Electrophysiology, Vascular Surgery, and Cardiothoracic Surgery
Access to cardiac catheterization, cardiac surgery, non-invasive testing, and cardiac rehabilitation
Practice within a 350-bed tertiary care hospital
Advanced cardiovascular technology and multidisciplinary specialty support
