Job description
An established regional cardiovascular program in Northeast Tennessee is seeking a BC/BE Interventional Cardiologist to join an experienced, multidisciplinary team.
Position Highlights:
- Join an established team of 8 full-time cardiologists, supported by experienced APPs, nurses, and clinical staff
- Exclusive cardiovascular group at a 312-bed regional medical center
- Practice includes coronary and peripheral vascular interventions
- Access to advanced cardiac catheterization and interventional capabilities
- Perform coronary angiography, PCI, STEMI interventions, and pacemaker/ICD implantation
- Additional procedural opportunities include leadless pacemakers, CardioMEMS, ASD/PFO closures, and peripheral vascular interventions
- Advanced cardiac support devices available, including Impella and IABP
- On-site congestive heart failure clinic with CardioMEMS remote monitoring
- Dedicated noninvasive and advanced imaging services, including echocardiography, TEE, stress testing, and nuclear imaging
- Experienced APP support in both clinic and hospital settings
- Referral opportunities for vascular surgery and structural heart interventions
- Call schedule includes approximately 13 weekends per year, 1:6 night call for STEMI, and 1:4 primary service call
