Description
Noor Locums is seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist for an inpatient locum tenens opportunity in Mechanicsville, Virginia, with coverage needed December 18, 2026, through January 1, 2027.
This opportunity offers a mix of weekday onsite coverage and evening/weekend call, with other interventional cardiologists available during coverage.
Job Responsibilities
Perform cardiac catheterizations, coronary angiograms, PCI, and balloon angioplasty.
Perform atherectomy, carotid artery stenting, embolic protection, and coronary interventions.
Provide medical management of vascular disease.
Respond to STEMI and unassigned cardiology calls.
Provide inpatient rounding as needed.
Manage adult and geriatric patients.
Complete documentation in EPIC.
Qualifications
Active Virginia medical license required.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Clean malpractice history required.
Must be available for the full coverage period: December 18, 2026, at 7:00 AM through January 1, 2027, at 5:00 PM.
Working Hours
Weekday evening call: Monday–Friday, 5:00 PM–7:00 AM.
Weekend call: Saturday, 7:00 AM through Monday, 7:00 AM.
Weekend and on-call coverage required.
